Counselor's Corner:

September was a very busy month with all 8th graders taking the Explore Test. In addition, several classes participated in a Bullying, Gossiping, and Taunting lesson presented by Mrs. Cowart and Laura Robinson, U of A intern. Ms. Robinson has also been conducting several small group sessions with selected students on Study Skills. Beginning in October, students will learn about the Career Cruising Program. Parents, Career Cruising is a wonderful career exploration program that can be accessed from home at http://www.careercruising.com/.

Halloween Safety: Parents, please remind your child to be safe during this holiday. Insist that all activities are chaperoned by an adult if you will not be attending. Remind your child that seemingly harmless pranks can become dangerous and deadly in minutes.
